Well hello there,
It's Nice To Meet You!
Let's start!

“There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data,"

Hey there! I just finished my fifth year at the University of California, Berkeley. I double majored in Statistics and Computer Science. I'm a Texas native, growing up in Port Arthur, Texas. My hobbies include breakdancing, video games, origami, and sports. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. This summer, I finished up my last class and was the Head TA for Machine Structures. I welcome all full-time opportunities. My recent interests lie in machine learning, data mining, and statistical inference. Below is my journey at Cal and why I chose Data Science!

  • Fall 2012 - Spring 2013

    Mechanical Engineering

I entered Cal studying Mechanical Eng. and took intro level math, engineering, physics, chemistry, and programming courses. I found that I was more fascinated with the math and programming and switched to Applied Math!

  • Fall 2013 - Spring 2014

    Applied Mathematics

After falling in love with Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra, I moved on to advanced courses. Though proofs and theorems were interesting, I found myself wanting something more "applied." Enter Statistics, prominent for solving many real world problems!

  • Fall 2014 - Fall 2015

I found my niche in Stats, and it found a special place in my heart. I was intrigued with all you could do with data, and dived into statistical learning. As of Fall 2015, I have completed the Stats degree with a concentration in Applied Math. My lingering interest in coding and love for data drove me towards Computer Science!

  • Spring 2016 - Summer 2017

    Computer Science

Fast forward to the present, where I'm working towards a degree in CS. I enjoy coding and fusing CS with Stats. Areas of Computer Science that interest me are data structures, algorithms, databases, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. I intend to finish CS and graduate in Summer 2017, using all my skills to pursue Data Science!

Here are some of my latest projects.
